Experiencing God in your room is possible. Perhaps you’ve tried to spend time with God but never seen the results. However, there are definitely results when you seek God. Hebrews 11:6 (MSG) -“It’s impossible to please God apart from faith. And why? Because anyone who wants to approach God must believe both that he exists and that he cares enough to respond to those who seek him.”
I’ve discovered the principle of seeing God move in your room: It’s simple, you have to GET ALONE – minimise the distractions, This time with God has to be private and personal.
Matthew 6:6 (MSG) “Here’s what I want you to do: Find a quiet, secluded place so you won’t be tempted to role-play before God. Just be there as simply and honestly as you can manage. The focus will shift from you to God, and you will begin to sense his grace.
This is a physical manifestation of a deep reverence, that goes just beyond words.
Moses and Aaron turned away from the people and went to the entrance of the Tabernacle, where they fell face down on the ground. Then the glorious presence of the LORD appeared to them. Numbers 20:6 (NLT)
In other words, IF YOU, want to experience the presence of God (glory of God) in a way that you’ve never experienced before. Humble yourself and bow down.
Worship is the key to opening the heart of God. In fact God is seeking worshippers. Those who worship in spirit and truth. Pour your love out, pour your adoration, don’t suppress your emotions. You can say words like: “I love You, Lord. I worship You. I adore You.”
In the beginning, it’ll just be words, but as you begin to humble yourself you’ll find yourself meaning it from a deeper place in the heart
Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker! Psalm 95:6 (ESV)
Notice how it says ‘bow down’ you stay in this posture because it’s powerful. Kneeling down is the most powerful act of a human being. It shows surrender, submission and honour.
Waiting is hard, I admit it, you get disturbed, your mind wanders away, but the secret to seeing God move in your room is waiting. Without waiting you can’t experience the depth of his presence. You need an undistracted devotion.
But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint Isaiah 40:31 (ESV)
The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him. Lamentations 3:25 (ESV)
Waiting means shut up…please…most people lose it here, they get way to caught up talking. This is the part where God begins to deposit deep spiritual things that concern all the matters of your life.
For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him. Psalms 62:5 (ESV)
Conversations that are heart to heart, spirit to spirit.
It’s not difficult experiencing God, what matters is: your heart, your faith, being patient for God to move in your room
Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known. Jeremiah 33:3 (ESV)
It is in prayer that you will birth ideas, strategies, God will himself give you heavenly wisdom to build his kingdom and impact the people around you.
Friends, you can experience the power of God.
Waiting Before God is the most powerful secret of walking in power. There’s an old saying: “He who kneels before God can stand before anyone”
